The first of these was to offer ease of navigation for our healthcare professionals.” Until then, it was impossible to preview documents or view several at once. Now, the mosaic view allows users to view an image, display a lab report, and write simultaneously. Another expectation was “the diversity of accepted formats,” emphasizes Célia Saint-Louis-Augustin, application manager. “The solution is very open and communicates with about twenty software programs, which is essential for centralizing all the information.” EHRs, imaging software, lab software, prenatal diagnostic solutions… Extensive work with third-party vendors was required to create the interfaces between the various tools. IM MODERNIZATION, THE BASIS OF INNOVATION With such storage and aggregation capacity, JiveX quickly gained widespread acclaim. “It’s a game changer,” summarizes Dr. Claire Thuillier, a gynecologist-obstetrician specializing in the monitoring of physiological and high-risk pregnancies. “I wouldn’t go back for anything. The software’s interoperability leads to a clear organization of our documents. Lab results, surgical reports, imaging exams, ultrasounds—everything is now neatly organized, saving us precious time.” It should be noted that, in parallel with the tool’s deployment, the transformation department took the opportunity to review the filing system to optimize processes. And that’s the whole philosophy of VISUS. “By making data available on a single platform, we facilitate the implementation of optimized procedures in healthcare facilities,” emphasizes Jérémy Cuif, Key Account Manager at VISUS for French-speaking countries. We ensure they have access to a variety of powerful tools.” This will help the American Hospital successfully complete its ongoing digital transformation. “JiveX is the unifying project of our entire architecture,” emphasizes Félix Mamoudy, Head of Patient Pathways and Digital Transformation. “Thanks to this foundation, we have control over our data, which will enable highly innovative future applications.” Artificial intelligence, in particular, should be deployed more effectively in solutions that give healthcare facilities “access to information within a secure sharing system.”
