HIMSS 2026 Study Trip: Catel takes you to the heart of digital health innovation

An exceptional opportunity at the heart of global e-health

For the eleventh consecutive year, Catel is offering an exceptional study trip on the sidelines of HIMSS, the essential global event for health IT. A unique immersion experience, designed for those who want to understand, anticipate, and shape the major transformations in the sector.

From March 5 to 12, 2026, a French delegation will travel to the United States, between Phoenix and Las Vegas, to explore the most innovative technological and organizational advancements in e-health. Organized in partnership with SIH Solutions, a leading media outlet for hospital information systems, this trip will allow participants to identify key market trends and share the insights with the entire French ecosystem.

Designed as a true strategic immersion, this program is for healthcare and digital professionals eager to broaden their perspective, exchange ideas with international experts, and draw inspiration from the most advanced American models. To foster high-quality discussions and a strong collaborative dynamic, the delegation will be intentionally limited to 45 participants from diverse backgrounds: hospital administrators, industry representatives, startups, and institutional stakeholders. This diversity guarantees a rich, cross-functional, and pragmatic approach to the issues addressed.

The trip will unfold in two complementary phases. The first few days will be dedicated to an immersion in the heart of the American healthcare system, in Phoenix, within the Banner Health ecosystem, one of the largest healthcare networks in the United States. Participants will have the opportunity to observe organizational practices on the ground, analyze the digital tools deployed, and understand the strategies implemented to optimize patient care pathways and workflows.

The second part of the trip will continue in Las Vegas, with participation in HIMSS 2026, from March 9 to 12. This international conference, which brings together the world’s leading players in digital health, will offer a comprehensive overview of the sector’s major innovations. Opportunities for discussion, networking, and debriefing will allow participants to reflect and collectively capitalize on the conference’s key takeaways.

Throughout the trip, several strategic issues will be central to the discussions. The optimization of healthcare organizations, the rise of decision-support tools—whether clinical or strategic—and the practical integration of artificial intelligence in American healthcare facilities will be the subject of in-depth analysis. Other key themes will enrich the discussions, such as digital hospital pharmacy, integrated care strategies, telemedicine, and virtual care, with particular attention paid to system interoperability and the leveraging of health data.

Thanks to the media partnership with SIH Solutions, this edition will benefit from increased visibility. Highlights of the trip will be shared in real time, while post-event analyses and summaries will allow the entire French ecosystem to benefit from the lessons learned and strategic insights gained from the field.

This study trip thus represents a unique opportunity for professionals wishing to enhance their expertise, expand their network, and develop a strategic vision to benefit their organization. Registration is open, but places are limited, so candidates are encouraged to apply quickly.
